Why Borrow a Village?
Borrow A Village was inspired by a simple problem.
When we moved back to the UK from New Zealand with a three-month-old baby and a two-year-old toddler, we quickly realised how difficult it could be to find trusted childcare when family weren't nearby.
Like so many parents, we found ourselves asking friends for recommendations, searching local Facebook groups and hoping we'd find someone we felt comfortable leaving our children with.
It shouldn't be that difficult.
Borrow A Village is bringing some of that village back.
We're creating a trusted local community where families can find experienced childcare professionals, and childcare professionals can connect with families looking for the right support.
